Purpose

The Goodlettsville Chamber Foundation purposes to advance and strengthen the Goodlettsville Community in areas related to the arts, culture, history, economics, business, matters of public concern/welfare, finance, education, training, housing, human relations, science, technology, economic planning/development, personal relations, problems of social/business groups, and other areas related to improving the overall quality of education and economic growth in the Goodlettsville community.

Each year the Goodlettsville Chamber Foundation makes charitable contributions to recipients who support local activities with meaningful impact consistent with the before-mentioned purposes. The annual application process begins each August with the deadline for application typically ending October 31st of each calendar year. Foundation charitable contributions are awarded in November. The Goodlettsville Chamber Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations that provide services to people who live in Goodlettsville, TN. Requests for support outside this area are not considered. An applicant organization must be exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Educational institutions are also eligible for such charitable contributions.
